whats up ive been looking for a set of jdm b16 pistons to drop into my block.... i found a set on ebay from a seller with tons of vouches whos selling a set but they are not OEM
nippon racing makes then to OEM spec they look exactly like the original and according the guy are better (of course hed say that) but i was wondering if anyone has had bought a set of these and or is it a bad idea?... i know nippon makes wheels and other stuff but ive never really heard of anyone buying the pistons

I have a set of NPR pistons and they are of top notch quality in my high c/r D16

they do moly coating a little differently.

 

ok... i knew that but im trying to find someone whos used them and or would use them... like the quality of the pistons themselves and or the material they are made out of i dont like aftermarket stuff to begin with especially new stuff that ive never heard of anyone using.. thats the whole reason to this thread to see if somoene has used them

 

I run Nippon Racing pistons in BOTH my cars. No problems yet.

 

sounds good so far... i havent heard any complaints

 

what about "king" bearings?
