is there a difference between 88-89 and 90-91 crx si pm6 ecus?
Yes....
Something I learned a couple days ago on here:
The rev limits are slightly higher on the 90-91 ecus
Also the 88-89 cannot be chipped as easily as the 90-91 ecus
As far as I know those are the only differences.

hmm ive heard about these chipping issues also. anyone know the rev limit difference? i have 3 pm6's and im wondering if simply goin from a 89 to a 90 will help rev limits any. thanks for the quick reply by the way
chipping wise the 88-89 will more than likely lack the external eprom, the 90-91 ecu is equipped with this.
If you are just gonna run the ecu stock, no chipping or nothing, just wanting something a tad bit better, go get a PG7 ecu.

the 88-89 si is 6500 and the 90-91 si 6800. The pg7 out of the 88-89 integra is the way to go though, from what I heard.
