we put a ZC motor in to a civic dx, converted to wiring harness to mpfi, the cars is running but real bad. it bogs when you give it gas or rev it up. when it does rev up it sounds like its hitting rev limiter. the car will only rev to 1500-2000 rpm and then the rev limiter hit and it kinda backfires. we check timing and reput it in time and checked wiring, we are throwing 1 cel. #4 thats the crank angle sensor, all injectors are firing and all cylinders are getting spark. can anyone please help out. thanks

What ECU are you using?

Did you solder all of your wires?

 

did you switch the wires on the throttle position sensor? because on dpfi it works backwards

 

well if its telling you your c.a.s is bad then get another one.as soon as you start it does it put itself into limp mode?

 

also what did you go by to convert the harness?

 

i am running a pg7 ecu i do believe, it is the one for the zc motor, i got the wiring diagram form hondaswap.com and i also found 2 other sites with the same info just worded different. its there a way that i can convert a si distributor with the CAS in it to take place of the one on the exhaust cam.
