Need Help! Skunk2 Camber Kit or Omni Power?
Just as the title states... which to choose? I know about the slippage issue on the older skunk2 versions, im just wondering if its worth the money to buy the skunk2's or go with the omni's. I've seen on certain websites that the omni's include the rear shim kit. If anyone has used any of these products, please post your experiences. Also if you could include some sites where i can purchase these kits... i'd appreciate it. Also does anyone know if the omni power version of the camber kit has slippage issues, and if so has omni power made a revised version similar to the skunk2's. Thanks alot people
neither. ingalls.
by the way, omni's "rear shim kit" is a 14 dollar bolt with a stack of washers. oldest trick in the book, as far as rear camber correction goes. go get some washers for yourself and call it a day for the rear.

From what i understand Omni use to work at Skunk.
I liked the omni a little better because it had that extra bit of steel welded to it to add a little bit of stiffness.

They are both essentially the same, but SKUNK2 has an inverted design on the hex bolts. Thus making adjusting the bolts and ball joit 10x easier to do.
Besides that, same design and make-up.

ya, you one need like 1/4 inch worth of washers. easy fix, why spend $100 on the rear camber kit?

Skunk2 camber kit and omni ones are the same exact thing, I have had them both, only the onmi one you can get for half the price and it comes with the rear camber... not the shim but the upper control arm for the rear, 250 and free shipping from passwordjdm.com..... both are exceptional products i, and im sure most here, would rather spend less money
i like the reverse hex design of the skunk2's. Plus im interested in purchasing the revised versions of the skunk2's. Im not sure if the omni are revised or not. I don't wanna deal with slippage issues.
hmmm touche with that one was unaware of a reviesed version of the skunk2 ones.... something i will have to look into... i have had the old skunks and have the omnis now no slipage problems for me here.... but yea i will definatly need to look into the new skunk's
one problem you might have if you lower your car to much is the camber kit hitting the inner fender wall leaving back dents like mines. I have the omni kit and I don't think my car is that low, but i'm getting dents already.
man your car must be low or either your springs or shocks or both are bad and you have some nasty rebount cause i used to have a 99 civic si that was air bagged and the only time my skunks hit was when i aired it all the way out... and i was pretty much laying on the jack points on 17's
