have a leak where my cat meets the piping on both sides of it. the header and cat back part. i was gonna take it out and get a magnaflow cat and weld it up in there..

how can i do this when the header is made for bolt up? should i weld pipe to the bolted on peice and then weld the cat to that.. and so forth. I wish i had pics to show but i dont.. Did anyone do this before? or should i just replace the stock cat with new gaskets? i might need to cut it all out though cuz its been bolted up there since the car was new

 

BTW the cat i was goin to buy is a weld on application.. not a bolt on..

and how about those cats u see on ebay.. any good? too loud ?
