Been doing it for a while... drinks oil pretty fast....The only thing I can think is piston rings.... Maybe there washed out?

Compression tested it today.. 220...195...200...210...

The motor had 5 bent valves when I got it. It idled crappy, but after 1500 you couldnt notice it.. After I fixed the valves I noticed it smoking dramatically more after I got on it.....I put new valve seals in it about 2 weeks ago... same damn thing. I have started to notice that it will hesitate occasionally. I took out the plugs and cleaned them, and then it wont do it for another month or so...

I was just about to build the bottom end anyway, but Its bothering me bad... My car looks like the damn mosquito truck

I still managed a low 14 (1/4) out of it though... So its performing decent for a stock b18c1

 

possible the piston rings are going and you have a lot of blowby from the oil mixture into the air fuel....sounds like time for a rebuild

 

yup. tear that shot down, get some high compression piston forged rods/crank, replace all the seals, add some ubercams, mill the head and rawk ******* all over the place!
