Default Civic Hatchback EK

I got a 96 Hatchback..I got a F23 from a 98 accord ....It was for free from my brother so I'm thinking free motor...hmm...well anyways...I know that a H series motors can fit into my EK with mounts and what not....I want to swap this motor in...but I need the following...tranny...axels/maybe?....ecu...accessories...heres the thing...i might want to get a H22 later on in the future...and I'm 90% sure that the accessories and clutch and flywheel is the same as h22.......I'm wondering the H22 tranny will fit in the F series motors? and do you guys think its worth the money?? i mean free motor..just gotta get some more parts...i think it would be pretty quick hatch with 2.3 liters of Honda Single Cam Power.. also some help with getting the parts would be great as well! thanks !

Seems like I remember hearing about adapter plates for F-series trannies to mate to H-series engines, maybe it's the same in reverse?
