Default KYB AGX Problem

after installing new KYB AGX's on my 96 VTEC and neuspeed sports the ride is entirely too rough and unacceptable. yeah more harshness is to be expected with stiffer suspension but ive never heard people complain about KYB AGXs riding too rough and if you owned my car, the first thing you'd be doing after a few weeks with this new suspension is coming up here questioning the terrible ride. now stock bushing and everything was reused with the new AGX and springs and i STILL havent gotten an alignment since the install. could this be the cause behind the ridiculously rough ride? what else should be replaced when installing new suspension?

my agx are adjustable dude? 1-2-3-4. the neuspeed sports springs are kinda firm as well.

I firmly believe that this has more to do w/ your springs than the AGXs. I have AGXs with Eibach Pros and have the shocks on 4, fr and rr and the ride is more than acceptable. I know it's not just me because ppl who ride shotgun in my car never complain, but rather give compliments on how nice the ride is.

I have kyb agxs with eibach prokits as well and have it set on 4 and the ride is just perfect not too stiff, but its not really stiff enough for me. I think it might be your springs

Im gonna go with springs. I have ground controls and agx's and I rock 3 in front and 4 in back and it is kinda bumpy on shitty roads but normal highway no problem. Id say its your springs. Sure you got the right spring rate?

Your tires will affect it as well.

I think your problem might be with your combination. You combined a stiff as hell spring with a softer strut. The softer strut will "cushion" but create a bouncy ride. I had'em combined with skunk2 coilover sleeves and the sleeves were stiff and the strut soft giving me a harsh ride. You would be better tuning the struts up to 2 or 3, to match the springs
