Default Headlight upgrades

I have a 96 accord LX and one of my headlights is busted and was thinking of upgrading. what kinds of headlights do you recommend? Is it better to get a one piece or stick with the corners being separate? What is the difficulty of the install?

thanks.

You can get the jdm black housing headlights for under $250. They look really nice on Accord. Atleast I think so. You can also do diy black housing headlights. Im not sure exactly how you do it but im sure if you search you'll find some info. As for installation its not bad, just time consuming.....

I the JDM depo headlights off of ebay for about $200 after shipping. A lot better in price than most places wanting around $300. I think they look really nice and i whole reason i got them was becuase my stock ones were getting to old and foggy and these look 10 times better....

I have one piece black projectors that look real nice and tend to turn heads. The problem with on piece though is since there is no removable side markers you have to remove the whole unite in order to replace one bulb. This wouldnt be a problem except for the fact that there is a piece of frame that blocks you from getting to the bulb from inside the engine compartment. I would go with the JDM or tyc. Tyc will problbly offer the best quaility especially if you want to put HIDs in the future.

Nice set of black housings. They never go out of style.

im gonna have to vote for jdm black housing myself. i did the DIY black out on stock headlights. i prefer to be able to use my 100 watt 9005 bulbs in my low beams (if your lost search under 9005 conversion) as opposed to an h4 in the jdm. if you dont do the jdm stay away from projector lights. one of the guys i work with has the tyc ones which are top notch with 100 watt bulbs and you can still hardly see anything. projectors kinda fall into the rice category IMO also , but to each his own.

Yes I have seen a few projectors I like but most of them are rice. I'm not really a fan of the black housings though I'm more of a fan of the stock chrome headlights I like them more than any aftermarket ones I have seen although I like the integra style lights a lot also.

Just get a set of fake/knock off headlight housings off of Ebay. Don't try and get the JDM bs some of these dorks are talking about. Waste of money. Black is black is black looks black.
