What rev should i be driving at
Hey people just a general question.
ok when driving in vtec.
ive herd that give vtec half way is not good,(revving up to5500-6000).
is it tru.
and they also say with honda's vtir's not to drive in low rev as it cause lag.
is this all tru or just another bulshit story.

VTIR CARS..H22A engines. they say to drive honda car with over 2000 rpms to prevent lag on the engine...

Honda with a h22a** is called a VTIR car here in australia.
eg Honda PRELUDE VTIR
but back to my question with VTEC cars is it tru you have ot drive in high revs

Ok thanks for the advice But i dont mean to be annoying but whats th difference if its red line or 7000 rpm....
when i red line my h22a i get second gear engaging on vtec as when i rev it to 7000 it engages on 4500.
So if you dont mind can you explain.

i dont know what ur trying to say exactly but
the reason red line is there is that your motor cant (shouldnt) go faster then it without risk to internals i.e. valve float, **** flying apart, etc.
