Default type r gears into gsr case ?

i know i can switch the whole assemblies into the new case but what about tranni shims whats the proper way to shim the diff and indicate it for proper alignment? also is there a aftermarket synchro and slider kit ? reason im doing this is the tranny was in a accident and the case got cracked

</TD></TR></TABLE>you will need a helms manual, to get the right procedures on the shimmimg of the diff. you can transfer all the shims, from the broken case to the good case. those shims will be your starting point, measure the diff's clearance and add the shims you need! all the part #'s for the shims are in the manual, every shim(different thicknes) has a specific part#. have fun
