dohc zc crank

Default dohc zc crank

any one know how much hp a dohc zc crank can withstand, im turbo charging with a set of forged pistons and rods but how much can the crankshaft take. any one have dyno numbers that would be very helpful.

Your crank will take more than what your stock sleeves will...

the weakest part of your setup right now is going to be your headgasket/rings/sleeves

make sure you get some arp head studs too

Or just go full out and sleeve your block...

I'm not saying he is going to bust up his cylinder walls but I'm saying that those are now one of the weaker points in his build...

If you go COMPLETELY full out and sleeve your block, get pistons, rods, head studs, rods studs (should already have them with the aftermarket rods)....

you are STILL going to have weak spots on your build... mainly your headgasket and piston rings. it is just a matter of "your only as strong as your weakest point" type thing... obviously stock pistons/rods are #1 when it comes to boost so yeah you all get what im saying

Your crank will be perfectly fine. There have been plenty of 300-400whp d series and all of them have stock crank. It is a pretty ****** bull piece so for honda cranks
