Need advice .. AEM SRI vs INJEN SRI
Whats up everbody...
Ok, here is my dilemma:
I have the RSX 5spd, base model. and im in the ever eternal quest for hp, so here is my question..
In a sea-level application, what is a better buy, the Injen SRI, or the AEM SRI .. What produces more HP, what sounds better, etc..
if anyone has them installed .. can you please give me your feedback on it -- any comments are welcome.
Thanks Guys!

I was hoping for similar advice myself. After consulting several local speed shops, I noticed a trend in the responses I received. They all said that either the AEM or Injen would produce nearly identical performance and audible aspects when installed. Most likely they both use similar if not identical filters, and re-route the air in a similar pattern. I would recommend going with which ever you can get for a better price.

I have the AEM on my Base RSX and I love it. The injen claims to make all of this power, but I find that hard to believe. I mean it is just an intake. Either one will be just fine. I think the AEM looks better, but then again nobody can see under your hood. As far a s sound goes it is not much louder than stock. I think at WOT the stock intake might have been slightly louder. It is pretty deep and you can hear it sucking air big time. I have the magnaflow catback also and it has worked well for me. Decent power gains in the mid to upper rpm range. Regardless, $220 for an short ram intake is kind of high. Injen does make good products though, I just trust the quality of AEM more. Good Luck!

The injen also comes with a heat shield which should be the reason for the higher price. Personally I'm gonna hold out for the Comptech ice box and see what kind of power they were able to make with it. Comptech=
