I was thinking about trading my ls for a stock rs and was wondering if and rs model has abs? and how about power steering? thanks I searched but found nothing.

 

The RS does come with power steering but no ABS

 

why would you want to downgrade??? rs = manual windows, manual locks, manual mirrors, no abs...etc..etc...are you doing it because of weight?

 

Probly wants to downgrade for weigh reduction

not totally true - i have a 94 teg (check sig) for sale BTW and it has power windows, power mirrors, power steering, A/C, but manual locks and no ABS

 

see, this thread is exactly why i think we need a FAQ thread sticky'd up on the top of the teg forms.. will eliminate alot of this.

but its alot lighter, no power windows, no sun roof, no abs i dont think.. but that might be on the 90-93 models, oh and no power door locks. and some other stuff..

i'm pretty sure '94+ RS cars have the power stuff, just no sunroof and no ABS. i mean, it's still an Acura. if you wanted manual everything 10 years ago, you would have just bought a civic, right? oh yeah, and in '94&'95 i don't think you could order them with a wing either, although later i think the wing became optional.

my specs(when it was completly stock):

power steering
power door locks
power mirrors
a/c
no sunroof
no abs
and i'm not sure about what radio came in it cause it was aftermarket when i bought the car.

 

is braking any different than an ls since there is no AbS?

the RS chasis is 150lbs lighter then the LS.

thanx bro, i hope i didnt come off wrong towards you when i said that, i was saying it in general to old and new people. because everyone always ask's questions about the basics and the people that have been here for a long time are sick and tired of seeing it and alwasy flame those who ask about it..


why honestly would you want an RS? what do you plan on doing with it?

Ditto. My 97 has power windows, power mirros, but no cruise control, no ABS, and no sunroof.

Manual door locks, though.
And the Radio was a stock AM/FM/CD player.

So many people spreading false info out here.

 

with an Rs you could covert it to make it looks EXACTLY like a type r : ) Actually its lighter because its 4 lug and it has no abs. The windows are power the locks arent.

so one lug on each wheel, totaling 4 lug's, really takes off that much weight?

No ABS/Sunroof though

thanks for the replys. well the reason I want an rs is because my ls right now looks so shitty so im just gonna trade it or sell it and make a poormans type R.

 

im pretty sure all integras (3rd gen, at least) had power windows. never did they come with the manual rolling kind. i have never seen a 3g integra door panel that would accomodate this.

its not just one lug on each.. they are new hub assemblies, so the wait of each hub gets alot heavery cuz its more ****. So yeah one lugs does make it alot heavier lol

 

My 96 was the same, but it was am/fm tape only
