Del Sol new Motor Question...
I had a blown head gasket on my 93' Del Sol so i went to an engine swap shop in Berkely Ca and bought the same model engine with little miles already put on it. Anyway, I looked at the engine and read the code on the front saying the type of engine and it isn't the D15. (the stock motor) it's a ZC motor. Sohc sadly.
My question is this:
Did i gain anything with the new motor?
About how much horsepower might I have with my little civic with the ZC motor, AEM Cold Air, and "fart can" (those straight through mufflers)? any guesses?
Thanks

have you installed it yet... you should get a whole lot of torque... those ZC's are really torquey... and it should make a huge difference... you should change your computer now...
i'm not too familar with a zc motor, but i'm pretty sure you'll get about the same (possiblly a little more) torque as a sohc vtec motor. without the top-end of the vtec.
