ZC Motor in a Del Sol?
Ok, well i'm on a very tight budget and badly need to get my baby back on the road. Im was planning on just replacing my d16z6 with the same thing- but on my searches, i've noticed ZC motors are pretty much the same price. Anything I should know if I plan on doing a ZC swap in a Del Sol (such as diff shift linkages, etc..)?

Try to get a grey plug OBD1 ZC if possible.
There's 3 ZC motors available:
SOHC non-VTEC - like the 1988-1991 Civic/CR-X Si D16A6 motor
SOHC VTEC - like the D16Z6 motor
DOHC non-VTEC - like the 1988-1989 Integra motor but better cams
I'd get the SOHC VTEc version. There's more aftermarket than for the ZC and the parts are cheaper too.
The DOHC ZC is over rated IMO.
