tranny mounts
is there a difference between the auto and manual tranny mounts? thanks ahead of time.
my friend swapped an ls into his eg coupe and used an ex civic tranny mount will that mount work to put the engine back in the integra.

Yes, there is a difference. The auto mount has a sort of angle to it, similar to a 45 degree angle, while the manual one doesnt.

Yes, they are different. Not only are they different sizes, but they are in different locations. One mount is "mounted" further back on the frame, while the other is "mounted" closer to the front.
This is why when you do an automatic to 5-speed conversion, the upper tranny mount either needs to be fabricated, relocated (rewelded in the new location), or purchased.
