I just replaced my headlights, and replaced my clear turning signal with yellow ones. well my front driver, isn't blinking. my rear driver, is blinking twice as fast. the passenger front and rear seems to blink at the normal rate, but the front seems loose. when i shake it alittle it turns on and off. any help?
Dunno if this is any help as its hard to understand what your asking. But if a front left bulb is dead or not working/hooked up then the back left bulb will blink twice as fast.
something is wrong with your front driver's side bulb, check out the connections on it and also on the front passenger since it seems loose. If the relay is still working and it starts to blink twice as fast, all the power goes to the rear and makes it blink twice as fast.
then change the bulb maybe only part of the balb burnt out if that doesnt work check your wiring to the plug

i just checked today guys. there's nothing wrong with the bulb. i even replaced it with a new one, and still the same problem with the fast turning blinking, and the front left won't blink.

I had a similar problem on my hatch and what it came down to was that, there was a short in the stock wiring. maybe that helps...sorry

it was fine before until i changed the turning signal bulb....could it be a fuse somewhere?
Heh, I've had the same problem before. In a Ford Expedition. The thing still worked. I don't know what was wrong. If it had been a short, something would have blown or just not worked IMO. Try replacing your flasher "relay" if it bothers you that much.
Dam all these post and not one of you guys got it right so far LOL.
Here's my answer and I'm quite sure of it. There's a semi clear box that has alot of wires going into it inside the engine bay. When you pop open the engine bay look at the where the headlight and corner lens meet at near the rear. On the side of the fender wall is that semi clear box with alot of wires going into it. That is a chassis ground, that is what causing your front blinker to not work right and the rear to blink faster then necessary. Usually it's mounted with a bolt, if it's loose then that will cause the blinkers to go crazy.
BTW both sides have these chassis grounds

Check if the bulb is two prong or singel prong it was two on my 93 civic if that is not the problem take out that light strip back the wier cover and make shure all the wiers are connected. Turn signals blink faster to let you know that one is out.

problem solved. 2000DX was right. it was just the bottom of the connector inside the socket. i just pryed it out alittle, and everything went working fine.

its in the bulb, buy a single element bulb and a double element bulb and try them both
one will fix your problem
i had the same problem but i cant remember which element fixed it,(single or double)
