Default FS: Bottom end built H22A4... ready for boost!!!

My good friend has decided thats he's not going turbo anymore so he wants to sell his motor, here's the specs:

97 H22A4
Block has been ported, decked, sleeved and pinned (like a block guard that goes all the way down the cylinder, for extra protection)
JE 9:1 compression pistons
Crower Rods
Ported and polished head
AEM cam gears

motor has 5000 miles on it since rebuild and is in immaculate condition. i guess the correct term for this is longblock, it doesn't come with tranny, header, alternator, or p.s., but you can use that stuff off your old motor.

this motor is ready for some mad boost!! I'm sure it can handle over 15 lbs. easy!

entertaining offers right now and willing to ship, (it's alrerady on the pallet)

$3150 or best REASONABLE offer + shipping will take it!!

any questions...call Doug at 423-877-6494 or 423-322-7974
DO NOT LOWBALL!!

ok.........lots of questions, coming your way.......
what kind of sleeves did you guys use? why do you say it can only handle 15 lbs. of boost??? with that low of compression and a sleeved block it should be able to handle twice that. what's the bore? does it come with the turbo manifold? is it a base block or type sh?

please don't be one of those guys that only answers one of those questions. i may be interested in this block if i know more about it.

base block, oil filter location. who ported the head and what valvetrain did you use? is the crank balanced and for what rpm if it is? did you do the auto to manual timing belt tensioner conversion?

the sleeves were made at the machine shop, they have no brand name because the machine shop had everything there to make the sleeves so he figured why pay for the brand name?? as far as i know it's dry sleeved. i just said that it would easily handle 15 lbs. of boost, i would probably daily drive it at 17 - 20 lbs. and race it on 27-30 lbs.

the bore is 87mm, it does not come with the manifold, its an sh block

that answers chris ricketts questions

look at the pictures for oil filter location ( its the big orange thing on the back of the block) the machine shop ported the head, stock valvetrain, only thing on the head that is not stock are the AEM cam gears.

The crank has not been balanced and the auto to manual tensioner has not been done, since the motor is out of the car it won't be hard to change.

Wow it's pretty much a steal. My h22 build costs way more than that. Too bad I didn't see this a few months back.
