How do i remove my wing w/o scratching my paint?

Default How do i remove my wing w/o scratching my paint?

I have a wings west 3 piece mid wing on my integra. i was wondering i can remove it? its taped, not screwed on. i tried a thin knife to remove the sides, and end up scratching my paint. how can i remove this without scratching my paint?!!?

how exactly can i heat it? use a blow dryer or somthing? i tried letting it sit at in the sun for a while, but it still doesnt work.

yeah, blowdry where it meets the hatch as close as you can (where the adhesive is). heat a little, try and pull, heat some more etc. it will work guranteed. then use something to get the leftover adhesive off. I prefer goo-gone, it won't hurt your paint. also you can use stoner's tarminator, which is a good bug/adhesive/tar/random **** removed that is for auto paint. then make sure to clean, polish and wax where the wing was.
