Default Broken front tranny mount on GSR swap, Can i just not use it?

Front tranny torque mount is broken, can i just forgo it and rely on the 3 main and a/c mounts?

eww tough call. I would say you can, but dont think over time there wont be any side effects from it. otherwords, if its a beater, dont bother.

As long as the tranny upper mount is fine, you are good to go. The upper three mounts are the important ones.

Thanks guys. I am going to use main mount inserts to stiffen the three main mounts up.

If Honda thought it was safe to run on 4 mounts, they would have only used 4. Buy the new mount.

normally i agree, go with honda's engineering. however, you could just "junkyard dog" this one and save a bunch, and still have the legendary Honda engineering on your side.

this sounds fine to me. i am running hasports right now and i only have the 3 main mounts hooked up. ive had more than a few 5k+ rpm clutch drops with my 6 puck and not a damn thing has happend. the most important mount on your car is the rear trans (torque) mount. the upper tranny and drivers sides are called torsion mounts(prevent the motor from twisting) and the other 2 are just added weight you dont need
