Hey I wanted to know what you Ht guys thought.....I am selling my four door Interga it is that dark green. I was wondering if I could sell it for more money If I repainted it champ white? Guys I need your opinion. Let me know what you think. I do body work so it want be more that just paint. You think it is worth the trouble. I need opinions?

 

Just sell it, as is. You won't get anymore then $500, and the paint will cost more then that.

 

CGP is one of the best colors in the Honda lineup.

Back on topic, if your paint is shot to hell... a macco paintjob would probably help get a few bucks back. But then, you'll prolly brake even only. Just sell it as is if you dont like the color.

 

G82-p is nice too

 

The color might draw SOME people in, however it's highly doubtful that it would be worth the trouble. Will you be painting EVERYTHING? (Inside the engine bay, underneath the carpets/paneling inside the car, door jambs, etc?) If not, then I doubt anyone will pay any more for it. If it's not a 100% full professional paint job, I would prefer the stock color.

If your current color has bad spots, a respray of the original stock color might be in order to get a price closer to KBB's asking price for a car in excellent condition.

 

i would just keep it the stock color....if you go to sell it and its a diff color, people may start asking questions as to why its diff and not be confident in what you tell them bc they may be thinking in the back of thier head that its been painted cuz its wrecked...that, and they may be nervous if its a diff color that if something does happen and they need the paint matched that it may be difficult....also, what if you paint it white and someone really wants to buy it but was like "man, i really wish it was green!" lol...if they want it a diff color, they can change it themselves!...just my $.02

 

Thanks to all of your inputs. I think I will just do all the dings and paint it green.

 

I doubt that painting the car would get that much more money and if you are selling it already it is probably not worth the effort

 

Some people prefer original paint... something to think about.

It looks crazy on my teg when it was all one color.

I think the color is called Pard or something but it's a nice looking green.
