!!Quick question about Si lowering springs (H&R sports)!!...
Okay, I'm looking to buy a set of H&R sports (lower 1.75 front and 1.50 rear) from a fellow H-T member for a good deal. I have a 1997 1.6EL (EX sedan) and the springs he's selling are for a 99-00 Si. I know they will fit, but will the difference in spring rates be enough to notice in height/stiffness?
i think its only 50 lbs difference in the front due to different weeight of engines but not 100% so if you get those springs and it actually drops that far it will be closer to even
Has anyone ever attempted this before? I need to know if the change in ride height will be even be noticable over stock...
same ****. doesn't matter if it's an SI or not. H&R has the same part numbers for both.

Obviously they're not EXACTLY the same, otherwise they would have the EXACT same part number, not the "-2" at the end of the Si springs part number.

I just wanted to find out if anyone has used 99-00 Si lowering springs on a 96-00 before... and if they had pics of the results.
