Default Review on DC Sport header for S2k

Are they worth getting? Never seen a dyno chart with one.

Everyone has bashed the DC header. Does anyone have any real proof that it loses power? Or does it just suck because it's not insanely overpriced like the JDM headers?

But, did it lose power on a stock motor? With just the header attached? Now what if the header was paired up with a test pipe and a free flowing exhaust? Maybe the stock exhaust just didn't work well with the header?

If I remember it was put on a car with an I/E all ready. It only lost a couple hp, but cant trust dyno's. Youll get a few hp difference every run. Overall, its not worth the money for a loss of hp or even if it could pull 1 or 2 whp.

I havent seen a header itself do much yet. Not even the 2g JDM ones. All the dyno's are done with I/H/E. Never header alone. To me 6 to 8 HP isnt worth 1500 bucks.

I think I might get the DC header just to **** all the jdm ****** off. I can get the header new for a really good price, so why not try it out and end my thoughts.

Exactly, none of the JDM headers are these "god's gifts" like the JDM nuts say they are. $1500 for 5hp? That's insane. You can do gears for less than that.

Your right, try out the DC, Id like to hear if it makes the exhaust sound different. Ceramic or SS?

Ceramic cheaper, ceramic I get.

I don't care if it's ugly, it's not there to be pretty. I'll end up wrapping it anyway I'm sure. I'm sure the header, paired up with my exhaust, and the test pipe I'll have on hopefully this weekend, the car should be pretty loud.
