just recently ive noticed that my car has been overheating on my way home from work which is about 15 miles away. Ive changed my thermostat and it was still overheating. Then when my car is all the way hot that the fan doesnt work at all, but sometimes it does its really weird. I have a fluidyne radiator and a local auto parts slim fan. also i changed the water pump about 10,000 miles ago. Any ideas?

 

slim fan not pushing/pulling enough air? did u bleed your cooling system properly?

 

Is the fan physicall not coming on/turning, or does it just suck at..........sucking?

If its just intermittently coming on, check the wiring.

 

the fan relay may be takin a crap on you

 

the fan sometimes comes on and sometimes it doesnt. I rigged it up and took my relay out and use a paper clip and it blows all the time. it worked fine before that.
