hell no! carb cleaner isnt by any means a gental substance. just use a mild cleaner in a spray bottle.
this is close to your vacuum diagram.

I think you will pass out from the fumes before you find the leak....what makes you believe you have a vaccum leak?

I know this might sound dumb but it works. start pulling of vacuum hoses while the engine is running and where you pull them off cover vacuum port. if the problem stops then you know you have it. Id say start with the less important ones like the ones on the right side of the manifold. then try the back one. then the evap purge , evap canister, and the intake control diaphragm. the only one that should make a difference when you pull it off is the map sensor and you will probably throw a code if you disconnect that one.
the vac diagram is pretty damn simple. retrace all the lines that shakes posted. Look on the intake manifold for any lines not capped and **** like that.
Thanks for the reply. To answer your question. My prelude on start up revs up to 1500 to 1800 RPM untill warm. I understand the problem is either a vacuum leak or air in the cooling system. I intend to flush the the radiator and replace the coolint. Maybe you can suggest another way to bleed the air out? I am also going to give all the vacuum lines the once over with some soapy water to see if i can find a leak. If you have any other suggestions please feel free to get back to me.

i've always done this with no problem.

the last owner put on a intake and he never gave me the intake control diaphragm or the rest of the stock intake(the bottom part that goes down the fender), I been getting this cel p0441 EVAP Emission Control System Improper Purge Flow. the number 8 hoes goes into the fender, but theres no intake control diaphragm to plug in to. I have odb2 h23. everything else looks like it been conected fine and no leaks.
i had a vacuum leak on my car and i just took a little bit of soap water and put it on the ends of the hose and looked for bubbles i found one. but in the end it was my idle position sensor
