Default need advise... on d16 and JRSC

buddy of mine is selling a d16 freshly rebuilt about 3000 km's ago and has a JRSC on it that has been barely used since he was in the show scene only... never been raced and i know he doesnt beat on his stuff...

motor is complete and has mugen headers on it....

my question is how much power am i looking at the wheels and how much would a setup like this cost? i live in canada so in cad funds...

BTW its going into a 93 civic hatch that has no vtec (non si)

Is the motor a Z6, B7...? Seems like I've seen tuned JRSC'ed Z6's put down roughly 160-ish to the wheels.

Mugen type d series header?

From what have heard jsrc set ups can be pretty reliable. But you will have trouble making as much power as turbo set ups.

sorry when it comes to civic i am a newb LOL
hence the reson y im asking guys.. thanks

my objective is to lay down around 180 ish at the wheels

If it's using the stock pulley it should make around 150HP to the wheels, but you can upgrade to a 8PSI pulley, and get more out of it (not sure on #'s). Few JRSC people dyno their cars for some reason.

The SC in good condition is worth about $1000-$1500 used. You can get a new kit on ebay for $2200 just for reference.

so i can go up to a 8 lb pulley?
stock one comes at 6 right?

so the charger it self is worth 1000-1500 or is taht what you would pay for the whole setup with motor?

thanks

well.... all i can tell u is this
with 6psi pulley and stock injectors, fuel pump and the basic JR FMU
on an automatic.... it puts out 146hp(spike due to tranny) and 112ft/lbs of torque
with 8psi pulley RC injectors, walbro pump and a cartech FMU + SMT6
on a manual with lightened flywheel and racing clutch... it puts out 146hp and 216ft/lbs of torque

That's just the charger itself. With the motor depending on condition maybe up to $2K no more.
