Default Installed my Skunk2 Shiftknob, *PICS*

:D Install has been completed. Took me like 30 minutes from start to finish. I retained the stock silver piece that goes blow the shiftknob, but just flipped it upside down and re-zip tied it. Also the lock-nut tucks rright into the top portion of the silver piece for a nice clean look.

Now it's time for me to go for a spin.... :driving:

Here are some pictures.

i just got my skunk2 shift **** this past weekend too and did just about the same thing. the throws are REALLY nice now.. you definitely feel the weight of the ****. i couldn't choose between this one and the ITR ****... but once i felt the weight of the skunk2... i chose it hands down.

the JDM ITR titanium **** is pretty heavy. I'm looking at getting that one.

Yea, I was debating between the Type-R one and the Skunk2 shiftknob, for a few days. The Skunk2, fit my budget, perfectly for a quality shiftknob.

I am also using Skunk2 shift **** for my DC5 now.

It works well. The weight of the shift **** makes me shift more easier.

I wanted to get that one too, but it's pretty expensive. Though, since I'm a 5spd, and I really liked the 5spd JDM Titanium **** from the DC2R, I have that one in my car right now. I am thinking of getting the OEM 5spd Aluminum or just getting a 6spd JDM **** (maybe the titanium if I can ever find it)--the new shape of the newer shift ***** have grown on me.

FYI for those that don't know, the titanium DC2R shift **** has pretty much an identical shape to the one posted in this thread.</TD></TR></TABLE>where can i find the titanium **** i was looking and i cant find it on most sites i have ...ive never seen it before ...

I personnally don't like the whole weighted bullshit theory. It might be a minor amount of extra mass but do a good track day and you will notice the difference.

I am using a white delrin **** now for the times when I drive hard and it's super comfortable I am waiting to see if the material will take dye that well and I may sell them in the future in black, another option would be the dc sports buffed out and annodized black
