Default Chipped ECU with ITBS?

Hey guys, got a quick Q&A session. I currently have a B18c5 bottom with GSR head, S2S2 cams, and a S2 chipped P28 to work with this setup. I am going to be converting to DIY ITB's and prob. DSM 450 injectors. Would it be safe for me to drive the car like that for a while before I get my Hondata? I have an adjustable FPR and cam gears. I was thinking to set the gears to 0 and play with the FP and idle until I can at least drive it, What are some of your opinions? Thanks.

I have no experience with ITB's so take my advice as such. I personally would just wait till I got Hondata unless you need to drive the car everyday, in which case you should just hold off all together till you have everything you need. Just my opinion though. Good luck either way.

You will not be able to run the Skunk2 chip with 450cc injectors AT ALL.

If you're not planning/able to tune it yourself, I'd talk to the person who will be tuning it before you hurt your motor.

Thanks for the advice guys. What about the drive from my house to wherever I am getting it tuned? I think I am at least 1hr from any dyno/tuning facility . We shall see.

I do them all the time, just require the voltage readings from your TPS at idle vs WOT ... and the mods/specs on your motor and I can burn the eprom.

both uberdata and crome you can program chips for itb's just find someone with a burner. teh burner and the chips cost a lot less than hondata.
