mods to a non-vtec engine?

Exactly, same ******* ****. Just because it doesn't say vtec on the valve cover doesn't mean that the bolt-ons and or upgrades need to change. The only thing that would not make sense using is a vtec controller for obvious reasons.
Just look at dsm guys...they dont even know wtf vtec is but you still see them buying all the same upgrades. I.E. pistons, rods, fuel rails, exhaust systems, turbo upgrades, etc.
