The Car- 1994 Del sol Si- 114,---mi. D16Z6 5spd

Problem- when the car should be idleing it surges from 1000-1500rpm, and my temp gauge does not work, BUT if i let the car sit for five minutes or so and warm up it goes away and the gauge works but as soon as i give it gas it starts surging again and the temp drops back below the C.
Another problem i think is connected to this is when im at WOT in 1st or 2nd gear sometimes my cruise control light will blink orange for a split second and i know my cruise control is off, please help me figure this out

 

Get the hell out of your car immediately!! Its posessed! j/p Seriously though,
check your throttle position sensor(tps) IACV, or if you have any vacuum leaks.

lol christine... love that movie, so it sounds like all of these things wont cost an arm and a leg to fix if im wrong correct me and thanks
