Is there a lower profile tire for 17's than 205/40's? Whatabout certain brands of tires.. do they tend to run smaller than others?

Just *spray* your wheels with rubberized undercoating. About 1/2" should do. 205/05/17s yO!

 

Well I am currently rolling on 205/40/17 kumho 711's, and am dropped on sportlines + neuspeed koni yellows. My front tires sometimes rub when parking or taking u-turns, so I figure lower profile tires would solve this as well as increase performance slightly.


Is 215/35 going to be smaller than 205/40?

 

A 215/35 would be about the same as a 205/40.

I highly doubt that going ro a 35 series tire will help.
