well last night i had to rewire my radio harness up, due to the prevoiuse owner cut the wire harness to hook the wires up one by one to an aftermarket cd player.
why he did this , i dont know. well i decided to go with an oem cd player. somebod y on here had a 97 acura teg cd player for 50 bux. i snatched it up. i went to the junkyard and bought a clipped off harness and yesterday i went to hook everything up. well my stupid self went to hooking wires up with the battery still hooked up. lets just say i saw plenty of sparks. well i hooked everything up and needless to say that the cdplayer was bad . the optical output is bad. i can see that its picking up stations and hear the laser eye reading the disk. its just theres no sound going to the speakers. well o well. i drove it today and i noticed that the turn signals arent working. they wont blink. but when i turn my parking lights they light up. i check my fuse under the dash and saw that is was good. i replaced it with another jus incase. still no blink. what do yall think could be wrong? could it be due to me ground out my wires together and sparks going all over the place???
and ohh yeah. after i hooked all my wires up to the harness, there were 3 wires left over that didnt go to anything. what the hell. the prevoiuse owner hacked the cars wiring up all over the car . its pathetic. any help or ideas would be great!

 

Check the bulb, you may have blown one of the filaments.

 

hummss. one bulb could do this.?
just to remind you that ALL of the parking bulb are doing this. that includes the rear parking bulbs too.

Do ur Hazard lights still work? Can U at least hear the blinker relay clicking in the dash, or the arrows blinking on ur cluster? If not, then suspect a blinker relay shorted out maybe?

 

none of that is working. where exactly is the blinker relay? under the hood, correct?
