Default Vapor/ moisture in hose from catch can to intake manifold?

is this normal to have some moisture, looks like condensation between your catch can and intake manifold. looks like little droplets are getting trapped in the return line to the IM. I took a whiff of the hose, smells kinda like fuel and oil, not sure.
anyone have any input on this.

catch can is routed like this: black box on back of block to catch can to pcv valve then to IM. B18c5 block, ported head, 11.1 cr, toda b's..
