Need Advice: Hondata/ Smog

Ok,
Ladies and Gents,
This month I plan to get my car tuned with Hondata and smog it as well. My setup is all n/a. My question is since I live in Norcal, what will be the most likely chance of me passing smog with my Hondata.
SeaFoam- Before I go into get my car smogged, I will put some seafoam and let it stay in there for 2 to 3 days so my internals and all the inside will be cleaned up. Then I will go and do an Oil change which is due by the way. As all of you know seafoam works very well as a cleaner for your engine.
My big question is , Do you think by me doing all of this will help me pass smog with the Hondata setup.
2nd option is: When I do my hondata setup ,keep the chipped ecu and trade it for a Stock P28 or P30 Virgin For smog reasons. This is just in case the Hondata does not work.
I did a search and I did see some peeps on here did pass with uberdata/ hondata, but I have not come across one person who pass smog with hondata in Cali.
Edit: My 94 OBD-1 JDM B16a

i think it depends on how the hondata is tuned? if its tuned right and youre not running too rich and have a good a/f, you should be just like stock. just dont let them see the hondata box.
but u cant go wrong with a stock ecu either.
if all else fails, post a "wtb: illegal smog" ad in the norcal classifieds thread.

Would someone please explain to this WTB: illegal smog, I have never really heard of it until now. I have came across it before but never knew what it was. What is its purpose?
