ok jus curious, which country do you all think offers some of the best manufactered HIDs on the market. To me the japanese hid kits look reasonable, but what is their quality, i am under the impression that germane made kits are the best, and thats wut is put on all Cars that come with HID from the factory. gimmie some input yall, thanx

the german HIDs are pretty good, but theres a thread somewhere in the prelude section selling krn HID setups too which seem to be pretty good.

It doesn't really matter who makes it, it's how much you paid for it. You get what you pay for.

Look at how many marvels of engineering Germany has produced.

Now look at how many marvels of engineering Korea has produced.

Maybe it's just me, but I'd take a BMW over a Kia any day

and everybody bows to the incredible performance of chinese-made cars...

if a tribe in the middle of africa made good HIDs for a good price, i'd buy them. Doesn't matter where they come from, quality is what matters (really.)

people would like to go with what is proven, and german made hids are what is equipped in most cars, don't get me wrong korean kits look good, but they are so new to the market that people don't wanna take a risk on them, when they see what is used and proven to work and last

Don't look at which country blah blah... A lot of the better kits (both from japan & germany) use products from the same companies -- phillips, hella & osram.

Look at the brand of the bulbs & ignitor/ballasts.

Bulbs will usually be Phillips or Osram. Ballasts could be either Phillips or Hella. These are the only brands I would look at.
