Default Have £10k to spend on my Lude. Tuning, brakes etc. What to do?

I have £10k that I can sped on my '94 JDM Vtec Lude.

I already have Tein HA suspension, exhaust, induction etc.

Ive looked into FI and am very interested. Ive spoke to a couple of UK based tuners(Jakan Honda, Advance Evolution etc) and they have suggested that if i want to make the most of my money, I need to build my engine(pistons, rods, liners etc) but that it will cost me £6k alone to do this. Does this sound about right? I was looking at building the engine, turboing and upgrading brakes etc all for the £10k.

Can anyone give me any advice. Tried the search but came up with a lot of things that didnt help.

Many thanks

Chris

A pound is about 2 USD right now right?

So you're saying they're charging 12K USD for building a motor? That's rediculous. For 20K you'd better be able build a motor, do an awsome turbo setup, put on brakes, and get some 6K rims while you're at it.......

On another note, I'm selling the entire turbo setup off my car, shipping would be a mess though. Email if you're interested....

£10k works out to be $18600.

they wanna charge £6k to build the engine including all the parts(JE pistons, Crower rods etc) all good parts but it just seems really expensive. The other £4k was to spend on some really good brakes, possibly some new suspension etc. I've been told I should be running between 450-600hp spending this sort of money. Does this really sound that expensive??

I know Honda engines are pricey to tune but this seems a bit excessive.

Yeah, that really sounds that expensive......

You should be able to build a motor for $6K and a good turbo kit (including fuel and EMS) for $8K, and brakes I am sure Baer makes a badass kit for around $2K....all that still puts you at only $16K (USD)......
