went to the track today and with 400hp on stock motor my car ran 8.2 at 98 mph. the clutch went out on my car but i dont think that it was the power that killed it. the car would only run a 2.2 60 and i knew something was wrong(not me driving).
by the third run that i did the when i hit third gear the car went straight to rev limiter.

new clutch will be here later today and we will see what it does on a good clutch.

Wow, look at that trap speed.
What's going on Philip. We didn't get to go because there's some issues with the boost controller in the gold hatch. Plus we were pretty broke from going to Denton Dragway Friday night and Saturday afternoon. They didn't pay us $50 for fastest import on Friday night nor did they pay us out for the Import Outlaw class nor Import Street class on Saturday. We were kind of depending on that money.
Great job with your car, where were your slicks at?

 

the slicks were in the trailer. i am running street tire class this year so i wanted to see how i could do on street tires.

Why did they not pay out? was the turn out too low?
