How to make my gsr quicker?? advance timming?
i was wondering how can i tune my gsr to run quicker? ppl told me to make my timeing up.....but how can i make my timeing up? and does it really help? can i do it w/o cam gears? and how do i do it?
Yes...you can advance your ignition timing.....but you cant play with cam timing until you get adjustable cam gears....

Just a word of advice.
I haven't seen anyone mention that when you advance your ignition timing you also have to adjust your idle.
I advanced mine to 18 degrees BTDC and felt some improvement in throttle response, but started having odd little vacum related noises due to the slow idle.
If you change your timing, also adjust your idle. If you don't know how to do these things try to find somebody to help or get a repair manual and understand what you are doing fully. I'm pretty good with cars and I totally got ahead of myself.

It is often know that alot of engines like less timing on the top end, and more on the bottom end. However you really can't control that unles you have hondata or an ecu of that type.
