window off track
well, was on my way to work today.. put my window down, and wont go back up now. it goes up about half way then stops because of the rubber sealant that surrounds the window. and because of it hitting up on the sealant, it now fell off track. any ideas on how i can maybe fix this or does anybody no how much this rubber sealant that surrounds the window is ?

does anybody else have this problem? any clue on how much this would cost to get taken care of? i really dont wanna have to worry bout my window not goin up when i decide to put it down
i have the same problem i think you can just get a new seal for the window i'm going to try it when i get my car back togather.

ive had this problem twice b4 and all u have to do it take out that plastic clear cover thing pull the window all the way down and then slowly as u put it back up put it back in between the 2 things where its supposed to go. easy as that. dont roll down the window when its cold outside or wat not cause itl freeze it in place and whne u try to open it itl get back outa track =T
mine did this last summer, was a chilly night and I went to get pizza. rolling window up at a stop light, i hear engine noise like its down, look back and there's 2 inches of open space in the top corner.
I took off panel and removed the plastic moisture guard, whatever it is and found that part of the base holding the glass had two loose bolts.
Had a friend push the window into place as I rolled up, got it aligned right, and tightened everything up.
I'd suggest checking out all the bolts, making sure everything is tightened and what not, then look for bent pieces and such.

DONT! Take off that plastic piece. It's not just for moisture, it also helps with sound.
What you can do is take that 10mm bolt down on the bottom front of the door out and move the track forward then push the window back and slide the window back in the track. Then to keep this from happening again spray some silicone lubricant in the track. Just push the track as far back as you can and put the 10mm bolt back in and your set. No need to remove anything.
Edit: This bolt

yo had the same problem...
the repair is super easy, go buy a new rubber track ($60-80), and the regulator arm ($60-80) for the glass (if it went of track that could be bent) THen all you need to do is un bolt the glass from the regulator arm, after lining up the bolts to the access holes. Then pull the glass out the top of the door. Then un-bolt the regulator arm from the door frame. remove, and remount the motor, re-install... silicone spray the track befoire re-installing the window but it was real simple. Lemme know if you got any questions I took alot of pics during muine, was gonna do a write up but haven't...

I removed the plastic (peeled off carefully) and just put it back on and it worked fine. It didn't rip, I just used some caulk. I fixed mine with no additional parts, only my 10mm and it hasn't messed up since.
