how much power should i expect from my b16 build ?

Default how much power should i expect from my b16 build ?

so after looking around i have decided to put ctr pistons in my b16 how much power should i expect from it ?

you should gain next to nothing with just a bump in compression, the b16 cams are the least agressive of all b series vtec cams, ITR or Ctr cams would compliment you compression bump quite nicely not to mention bc III+. Personally rather than dump money into pistons why don't you either buy some cams type r's buddy clubs, rocket m20s have your head milled for 30 bucks and buy some cam gears, tune and call it a day. i wouldn t waste money of CTR pistons on a stock motor not worth the trouble at ALL

yeo I would leave the bottom end alone if it is fine now!! 2 layer honda gasket =same as ctr pistons!!!

40 dollar hastings rings and a hone, with some money left over for a mill and an intake cam

CTR pistons in a stock b16a2 motor will give some power. Mine were installed recently and I felt a bit more power in every single gear (low end & high end) including 5th gear on the freeway. It pulls slightly harder.

Next for me is skunk2 stg 1 cams.
