Default cost of rebuilds

did some searching before hand and have the necessary information on what I need for the rebuild. Just curious as to how much I could expect to pay by bringing my car to a shop to have the engine and tranmission rebuilt? If I did it myself sure I could save some time but I was just wondering if anyone here has had both the engine and transmissions rebuilt at a shop, the mileage they had it done at, and there results afterwards...im hitting the 100K mark on the integra right about now.

i dont think you necessarily need a rebuild at 100k unless you had really bad compression and grinding on the tranny

I see no reason to rebuild your engine unless it is currently in a bad state, or you're building it up for performance reasons.

I'm at 173K miles right now, so a rebuild is not necessary.
