Default car cranks too slow after manifold swap

i have a 92 eg cx with a d15b swap. I baught the car with the swap but the idiot that did it left the cx intake manifold. I got an si manifold and it was a direct bolt on. but now when i let the car sit for a while when i go to crank it takes about 3-5 seconds before it starts. but after that if i turn it off and back on it starts up fine. i know it is a fuel problem. i checked and tightened everything. If your confused as to what i mean. it is like when you replace the feul filter, the first time you crank it it takes a while to start. that happens to my car everytime i let it sit for about 2 hours. other than that no codes and car feels way better.
