just wanted to know a fairly accurate price for a swap into a 95 accord lx... and also could i use the same tranny?

Really Depends what you wanna do?? do you want it to look pro?? do you wanna replace every part that you should in a swap?? I spent 1000$ CDN -or- 780$ USD just on replacement parts, and i ran into a few little problems.

I replaced, Cap & Rotor, Wires, Plugs, Ignition Coil, Radiator (Ignition & rad had to be done)

Had to get timing belt, balancer belt, auto tensioner, Cam Seals, Air Filter, Fuel Filter, Axle Seals, Valve Cover Gasket, Oil Pan Gasket, Tube Seals, mtf, oil, power steering fluid.....any we had to modify power steering hose, make a wiring harness, and modify engine mounts, and power steering brackets...........there was lots to do!

I'd say bank on 3000$ USD just to be on the safe side, i spent 3500$ USD, but i had to replace rad, and igntion coil which alone was 275, but always overestimate, and if it all goes well then you can buy an intake or header, or exhaust

tranny?? i wouldn't attempt using the same tranny, i don't think it will function as its supposed to, but hey its your money

 

i wouldnt use the same trans then when i do the swap, i want it to be done right... i dont want somethin to crap out on me a month after i do it...

If you are mechanically inclined and have the tools, get a manual and d.i.y. It's not an impossible process and if you enjoy working on your car, it's even fun. And yes, your accord tranny bolts up. This is also good if you plan on boosting. The longer gearing of the accord tranny mate well with power of the boosted H.

 

If you take your engine out let me know I need one for my 90 EX accord.

even with LSD 5speed, type S pistons h22, special mounts

was the car in really bad condition?

 

TOUGHLOU--in two weeks im doin a h22 swap for someone and in return he i giving me his old motor, tranny, ecu, etc.(f22a1)...i would be willing to sell you that motor since ur looking for one
