ouch, my high pressure fuel line rusted to the point that it's leaking. It's right at the point of entry from the gas tank area to the inside of the car, right under the back seat of my 89 hatch.
What to do????? I don't think cutting the line right under the seat and trying to run it to the tank will work as I can't find any metric compression union adapters. I know it's close to 5/16" but with 50PSI of pressure, this union has to be precise so metric is the only way to go.
So, should I buy a brand new high pressure line from the dealer???? If that's the case, I got to take out my dash...

buddy of mines car did the same. we just cut it and then put a rubber fuel line over top of the steel line and hosed clamped it. I dont recommend it as a permanent fix, but it will be ok for a while. I believe hes still driving around that way after about 7 months.
