Default Troubleshooting help needed

Well, this is going to be one of my first questions asked here at H-T But, I've done my research before asking, and I'm still stumpped. So, I was hoping someone can shed some light on my situation. Here's the deal...
I've just completed a mini-me swap and MPFI conversion on my 91 STD hatch. I had it running perfectly this morning, but as soon as it reached normal operating temp., the idle went to poo and acceleration stumbles/backfires.
I've gone over my wiring quite a few timed now and have found nothing out of place. I've got no codes when this happens either so thats what's got me confused. I'm not sure what to look into as far how the ecu determines engine temp etc.
I'm going to check out the EACV (IACV or whatever) and see if it's dirty or in need of replacement. Any suggestions? Thanks- Steve
