Default will 95 block match a 97 head and tranny????????

im looking to buy a sleeved block but it is a 95 h22a1 and i own a 1997 prelude that has a h22a4 i need to know if my head will match that block. both of the motors are base model preludes, not type s. i also need to know if a 97 crank will work in a 95 block.. thanks

base model 95 preludes had F22s in them, not h22s.

and if i remember right, all the stuff within the H series should be interchangeable, so all of what you're saying should work fine

the 95 block will have to be made OBD II. crank position sensor is one thing i know for sure. do some research for the rest. but other then that yes the head will fit and work as long as it is an H22 block and head.

the 97 crank is the cutoff for the 50mm mains. so that will work. 98+ however will not.
