how to get the shift nob off

Default how to get the shift *** off

I have a 88 crx si and I need to get the shift *** of. when I twist it it feals like it is going to brake. How do I get it off with out braking it.

Should just be able to twist it off. Counter-clockwise.

Get some vice grips if you cant grip it..

unscrew it.......
If its an aftermarket shifter it might have some set screws hold it to the shifter.
