I am considering a set of wheels which are 17x7.5", with a 45mm offset. Will a wheel of this size fit on an R? I am thinking 205/40 17 or 215 40/17 Tires.
I Tried seaching, but did not have any success . . .
Thanks In Advance

Did the 215/40 17 rub much? I would assume there would be some rubbing during tight turns.
Yeah the R is gone :-/. Actually I am eyeing the new TSX A-Spec wheels for my 5-lug Civic. Those are beaustiful wheels, and I think they would be sweet on the white Civic.

Pics of the rims.. I can't seem to recall what they look like.

i was just going to ask a question just like this.

I ran 17x7.5 Subzero's with with a 43mm offset with 205/40R17 Kumho's and there was no rubbing whatsoever. My car is lowered about 2inches in the front and 1.75inches in the back.

I've personally noticed rubbing only in tight turns, and slopping dips. However, during normal driving "No Problems" at all. In addition, "Bridestone S-03 are wider than other brands of tires."
Rims - 17*7.5
Offset - 43
Tires - S0-3 215/17/40
Dropped - 1.25" all around
