Pics of My New 2005 Magnesium Metallic ELEMENT!
Here are the pics if anyone cares.
2005 Magnesium Metallic Element EX 2WD:

Rear seats folded up out of the way - they come completely out too.

All four seats folded flat to make a bed:

We got it with 11 miles on it - as you can see we've been driving it the past few weeks:

The CD player plays WMA and MP3 files, and there's even an auxiliary jack (not pictured)for an iPod:

The factory stuff sounds pretty good thanks to 270 watts and the 8'' subwoofer:

This is our first brand new car, and so far we're enjoying it. My wife and I have wanted one since they came out, and the new Magnesium Metallic really stood out to us especially since it has black trim panels as opposed to the light grey ones.
I've still got the B18C5 Cx HB, but unfortunately we sold my wife's 1992 Si B16A2 hatch in order to put a hefty down payment on the Element. Oh well we like it enough to keep it anyways.

Yeah this thing is very functional, and just way different from the Civics we've owned.
The rear seats seriously have more passenger room than any passenger car/truck I've ever ridden in. The cargo room is crazy, and when we carry our 3 dogs to the off-leash dog park in ATL we can just pull the rear seats out, put a gate, and let them run around back there. Then if they get the floor nasty we can just spray the crud off and wipe it down.
The stereo is actually pretty bad-*** too. I figured we'd upgrade it before we bought it, but we're actually happy with the sound from it.
We got a killer deal too. I know a few people at our local Honda dealership, so we got it below dealer invoice. We got financed with a pretty damn low interest rate, and we put $5,500.00 down on it from the sale of my wife's HB.

Haha hell no. This thing is staying 100% bone stock! At most we're looking at the OE Honda roof rack, but that's about it.
Once the warranty runs out in 5 years then it's time for a Type S head and boost!

We haven't really checked, but I'm resetting the trip meter on our next full up to find out. We've yet to wait until we're on E to fill it up again.

i love those things. i like the light bluish green ones. i had a question if you know the answer, i know honda offers the 2wd with a manual tranny option but does the awd have the manual tranny option?
nice car.. my friend in berkeley picked up one of those recently.. it's crazy how you can just hose down your interior.. and the ipod aux cable is nothing, i have one in my integra

I really like the overall look of the Element. To me they are a little edgey, which I like. I really wish they would bring an edgier Si to North America and maybe the Fit as well. If Honda did that then they would have several cars that could appeal to folks a little different than the old Accord and Civic Sedan.
